Lol, I gots me a good voice actor.
That was the most random piece of.......
.........art I've ever seen! Very original style, a lot of people on here don't use that method. 5 stars!
Thanks my good man, im glad you enjoyed it.
Valiant effort, but.......(just one man's opinion)
It was awful. Dreadful. Not one thing funny about it. Look, I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just giving you criticism so you can make better flash movies. It looks as though this took a LONG time to make (which is a shame it's so bad).
1. Write a script/storyboard/etc. Make sure you run through your material and even test it on friends (if THEY don't think it's funny.........no one will) It'll also help even out "dead spots" where nothing is really going on, and you can concentrate "da funny" into a tighter space (i.e. less time to make)
2. If you're going to make a flash movie for the public, I suggest you buy a better mic and record properly. It's really a waste to have a good animation (yes, your animation was definitely your strongest suit.) and HORRIBLE voices... Look, buy the 80 dollar MXL voice mic, or an M-Audio USB mic (they're pretty cheap too). If you can afford professional animation/photo editing software, you can afford a 60 dollar usb mic. Snatch up Audacity to record on (if you don't have a suitable alternative). Another good DAW is R.E.A.P.E.R. (reaper for short). Then you'll have continuity between audio and visual
3. Regarding the voice acting, do these 2 things and you'll have better voices. Pop filter. Please use a pop filter, or even pantyhose wrapped around a coathanger to kill those breath blasts. Also, when you run your finished audio, use the "detect silence" tool and remove the dead air... The white noise really makes it sound elementary...
Those are really the main things you had going against you in this movie. I'm not trying to bash you, because it was indeed a VALIANT effort. I tell you this so that you will make better movies (which I am 100% certain you can do as long as you follow these instructions. Keep it up, and I'm sure you'll go far.

Haha, I actually did everything you recommended in there.
I ran it by a few friends, and they said it was pretty good. I think they asked me to change one joke.
My microphone is actually $140, and I did use audacity, except instead of detect silence, I just use remove noise, and pick a blank spot. That way, it'll remove background noise, depending on how much static the mic gives me. I intentionally bumped down some parts (the intercom parts, to make it sound like an intercom), and it may sound crappier because I had to really cut down on the FLV to fit it in under 10mb. The actual quality was much higher, but the AVI file was over 450mb, and I couldn't even produce a .swf file, because the player would crash from out of memory errors (it used a LOT of 640x480 bitmaps). I hadn't noticed any breath blasts either.
Dude, this flash rocks!
I can't wait to hopefully get in on some of this sweet action. Keep me posted ;-)
